Nick. I enjoyed these pictures very much, even their presentation on the page. Can I ask, of what journey is the picture with the axe a result? And the others? Thanks.

Sometime, try switching your focus; have a blurred foreground blend into a crisp image in the background. regardless, goodeye.

Hi Andrew. Thanks for the kind words. I will attempt to explain some of the photographs, at least where I was at the time they were taken.

The first photograph was placed above the picture of my dearest friend. The grain stalk was dying and in a sense is indicative in some form or fashion of my relationship with my friend. At the same time, I know harvests grow and die and although my relationship with this particular friend has gone through a sort of death, I know it will grow again soon. That is where the axe comes in. The axe photo is one of my favorite photographs I have taken. So it concludes my presentation because it is my favorite photo of my dearest friend.

The photograph of the little girl is my daughter, my joy. She represents the journey of fatherhood for me.

The photograph of the train was taken at a station just outside of an office I used to work at, at a job I once enjoyed but after a while did not care for. You could say the train represents my desire to leave ... which i did.

All of these photographs represent to me the best of my work at the time this presentation was put together. They also each bring out unique feelings and emotions in me.

I am happy to be able to share this with you, if only briefly.
